Product Description
The Easy Walk Harness is a no-pull dog harness that helps stop pulling and teaches him better leash manners. The Easy Walk Harness has been loved and trusted by millions of pet parents and trainers since 2004 to help improve walks around the world. Since this harness rests across your dogs chest, you wont have to worry about it putting pressure on your dogs neck like when he wears a standard collar. The patented martingale loop on the front of the harness makes this harness great for dogs who pull. As your dog pulls or lunges, the specially designed loop tightens, putting gradual pressure on your dogs shoulders, allowing you to help redirect their focus. The leash attaches to the front of the harness so you can help gently guide your dog. Your dog will be cool and comfortable while wearing his harness. The Easy Walk Harness has less coverage than other harnesses making it lightweight and very breathable. The harness is also incredibly durable and ready for every walk or hike. The Easy Walk Harness is quick and easy to fit. Weve made the belly strap a different color from the rest of the harness, so youll be able to easily put on your dogs harness for your next walk together. You can purchase the Easy Walk Harness risk-free because whether the harness isnt the right size or your dog mistakes the harness for a chew toy, our Customer Care team is happy to assist you with a new size or replacement. You and your dog will soon enjoy pull-free walks together. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

My dog is a 24 lb pug mix. She is sweet and wonderful but nobody wanted to walk her! She pulls so badly and constantly. She slips out of any harness we buy her. It’s awful! Ugh! She’s getting chubby from lack of exercise and missing out on lots of good family fun. This harness was my last hope.I am blown away!Even after I read all the five star reviews, I was skeptical. I bought this harness and got same-day shipping. I walked her that evening and I couldn’t believe my eyes! The first time she pulled, the harness snugged up on her chest and gently turned her to face me; she stopped immediately. She turned and kept walking, but slower and more mindfully. I gave her some slack in the extendable leash and then locked it down–as soon as she pulled again she immediately stopped again. That’s it. Pulling is over. My 13 year old is now walking her every day and loving it! She doesn’t pull, she minds the “heel” commands. If she gets too excited and starts to pull, she stops as soon as the harness snugs around her. She’s starting to walk better with just her regular collar and no harness at all. This harness appears to be breaking her pulling habit entirely!!Here is what you need to know with fitting. My dog is a mixed breed and is barrel-chested for her size. I really worried that I would never get the right fit. I have a hard time buying any harness for her. If I get it large enough for her chest, it’s too large for her paws and neck and she can slip it easily. We’ve been through many. Not the case with this one!Fitting: Measure the largest part of your dog’s chest. Buy the size that most narrowly matches that chest measurement. My dog’s chest is 24 inches, which fits in the size range for the Medium which is for 20-28″ chest. I took her PetsMart and tried the medium on her and it was HUGE! I couldn’t make it tight enough to stay on her. So I ordered the Small/Medium which is for 19-25″ chest–a more narrow range for her chest measurement. I was worried it would borderline on too tight. It isn’t. I had to snug it up quite a bit to make it fit her.As for putting it on and taking it off: Don’t unbuckle everything!!!! It’s too confusing. You only need to work with the buckle for the chest strap, which buckles at the side of the chest so you can actually see it!! These harnesses are all 2-color. The strap that buckles around her chest is the second color–in my case silver. The main color, in my case black, is the whole rest of the harness. Only unbuckle the part that buckles around your dog’s chest. (See the attached photos) Stand in front of your dog. Hold the harness so the leash loop is facing you and dangling at the bottom (the leash loop is the metal circle on which you will clip the leash to the harness–it will be on your dog’s chest, not the top of the back as with other harnesses). Slip the harness over your dog’s head and then just buckle the colored strap under the chest and you’re all set. Take it off by unbuckling the chest strap and slipping it right over your dog’s head. It’s not a tight squeeze and is actually so much easier than trying to slip both paws into the leg holes while holding your dog down and buckling the strap with your third arm. This is the easiest time I’ve ever had getting her into a harness. You need to know that this harness will loosen itself after some time walking. Not it’s strongest feature, but I couldn’t even take off a star for this as it is such a miracle to be able to take our dog with us to parks, walks around the neighborhood, etc. There are 4 points on this harness that can be adjusted to fit your dog’s individual shape and size. This is very much a strong point for me because my dog is not perfectly proportional. When you first take it out of the box, put it on your dog and check to see which points need adjustment. I can adjust it while it’s on her, but it’s easier if I take it off, adjust, and put it back on. I don’t have to adjust it in the middle of walks. But you should check the adjustment every time you put it on your dog.Pros: My dog doesn’t pull anymore (life altering)!!! Great price (Amazon charged half what pet stores charge–I did not get a discount for this review!); easy to put on/take off; quality construction; 4 points of adjust-ability for a good custom fit.Cons: none so far (need for periodic fit adjustment is not a big deal to me)I would recommend this to a friend. I actually recommended it to a total stranger–an older lady in the pet store (without her dog) who said she has a Min-Pin she can’t walk or take anywhere because he pulls her so much. I was so enthusiastic she bought one right then and there. My dog was standing there being an angel, wearing her Easy Walk Harness. Please tell me if you found my review helpful. Please ask if you have questions. Thanks and good luck! I hope this solves your fur baby pulling problem. It certainly solved mine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I started off with one for my dog walking/boarding adventures after seeing how well it worked on a client’s dog. Now, I have five easy walks (small, small/medium, medium, medium/large and large). I use the medium the most, fits most dogs I walk.I am having hard time finding one that works/ is snug for my own dog. I originally tried the large on him, too big on the chest, downsized to the medium/large, still too big on the chest/ not snug. The medium would fit him but too small on the belly. Despite this my dog walks has drastically, he wasn’t much of puller before but the easy walk is way better than a regular harness. I think the chest strap is what sets it apart, it makes my dog walking easier. I do pair the easy walk with a waist belt and 6ft bungee leash for best results. I can walk up to three dogs (200lbs combined) with this system. Highly recommend for people who constantly walk their dog (daily), I tried it on a guard dog breed who wasn’t used to walking/ it was difficult (since he wasn’t used to following my lead).

AMAZING!I have an insanely energetic, reactive, 6 month old Bernedoodle puppy. She’s 33 lbs and pulls SO HARD on walks, leash tight the entire time and chokes, coughs and gags herself. If she sees another dog or a squirrel, forget it, LAUNCHES and GAGS! With enough momentum she pulls me and have almost gone done a number of times getting yanked. I’ve tried everything, we have been to training. Walks have started to really become miserable for me and I dread them. I have to say this is the only thing that has worked. I do not understand the wizardry, but she can’t pull like she used to. She can’t choke herself because it’s not a collar around her neck. She still walks out in front and tries to pull the leash tight because she wants to GO, but she can’t charge (not without being turned around to face me, and she doesn’t want that!). It’s not perfect, but I can say I have way more control and don’t dread walks because of it. I think with a little more training and positive reinforcement and this harness, we can get to loose leash walking.

Great harness once you get the fit right, which took a LOT of trial and error. Based on the size chart, my pitbull/cattle dog mix should’ve comfortably fit a M/L (17″ chest, 27″ girth, 50 lbs), and it even says if they’re between sizes to go up a size and she’s nearly as big as the max for M/L. She’s a pretty petite pittie mix and is typically a M in dog stuff. Harness arrived and it was HUGE. She’s pictured with every strap adjusted as tight as possible and you can see the chest still falls down to her legs. I was so disappointed as I was so excited to take her for a walk with less pulling, but this harness was not it. I tried again with a M, and while we’re finally getting a better fit, I was astonished that she still needs the straps tightened almost all the way (chest tightened completely!). Somehow it’s still not even as snug as it’s supposed to be based on the sizing instructional video. We’re not at loose leash yet but at least we’re now able to go on a stroll without me being dragged down the block.I definitely recommend measuring multiple times with different angles if needed, because this IS a nice harness (especially for the price) but that size chart was really incorrect for my dog.

The best walk ever!!!
I have a beautiful rescue girl who is Rottweiler cross Irish Wolfhound and pulls like a truck! I’ve tried a halti but she hated this and walks were traumatic for both of us.After a lot of research I decided to bite the bullet and try this harness and my goodness what a difference! It arrived today and we went for the easiest and most stress free walk yet. As soon as I pulled the leash a little bit she slowed down and I had so much more control. I’ve now ordered another one for her brother :-)Yay for walk times finally being pleasant for the entire family!

The only harness my pup will use
My pup is 16 and has used the Easy Walk harness since he was three months old. It is the ONLY harness he likes; otherwise, he just refuses to walk; and the 2.3 kg dog has torque when he stops short. It was initially recommended by a dog trainer for its quality and to encourage reluctant dogs to walk. I purchased the extra small for my long-hair chihuahua. Highly recommend.

Fits perfectly as long as you measure your pet
M/L size is a perfect fit for our mixed breed dog. He’s nearly 3 years old and 27kg. The no pull effect is fantastic. This is our second buy, as first one had lots of rust with almost 2years of use. SGD15.31 was a fab price as well I couldn’t refuse and bought two pieces

Transformed the experience of walking our dog!
We have a 20kg, medium sized Australian Cobberdog who was pulling while walking. We bought one of these and it’s been incredible! He’s walking beautifully with no pulling!
